Flowers are the traditional gift we give to our loves. Their beauty is ephemeral, as is human emotion. Flowers are the plant’s agent of reproduction. Flowers produce seeds which are are photon-pixels of future life. Flowers engage the senses. They are the focus of the garden. They embody gradient & radiant color.

Some are so colorful that they seem to radiate rays of saturated hues. Many have a distinctive & pleasing smell. They also have texture and have  graceful symmetrical shapes & 3D volumes. Certain flower seeds are psychedelic. Blossoms make their environment beautiful, & are also as the subjects of art, objects that symbolize ardor, & some are edible. Many artists use them as primary themes of creative expression.

Looking at flowers brings me happiness.
